Autism Assessments
Heidi has a wealth of experience working with neurodivergent people, and is well versed with the nuances of the Autism Spectrum. The Adult Autism Assessment is a comprehensive process conducted over several clinical consultations, which can be completed online or in person. This involves a clinical assessment for you, and discussions with a friend, partner or family member you designate. For more information, please click here.
Autism Assessments for Tweens and Teens involves a parent interview, an in-person assessment, and discussions with educators. A letter compared to the full diagnostic report confirming the stance on your Neurotype can make the process more affordable and quicker. Please read more about it here.
Many autistic females may not be diagnosed or receive a diagnosis until adulthood. This may be down to the fact that females can present with different symptoms and may mask their ASD more than males. This may result in autistic females internalising emotional difficulties and experiencing more mood-related disorders, such as anxiety and depression, than males in some cases.
